Being part of our Advanced Technology Solutions team means working with skilled engineers, academics, and industry experts across continents and industries. Currently we are looking for both junior and experienced Python developers to join our team.

As a Python Software engineer you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience. Your role will include:

• writing effective and scalable code;
• develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance;
• integrating multiple applications into a solution;
• improve functionality of existing systems;
• troubleshooting of production issues;
• root cause analysis and necessary code fixes to improve stability and user experience;
• participation in the identification, grooming, and implementation of a product backlog to meet customer demands;
• cooperation directly with colleagues from other PwC entities and clients.

Technical skills

• hands-on experience developing with Python,
• knowledge of relational database management systems;
• skill in working with web services (SOAP APIs, REST APIs, OData, etc.);
• knowledge of open source Python development frameworks e.g Django, Flask;
• background in other domains such as data science, javascript development or other would be considered as an advantage.

Others

• university degree (IT or technical background);
• english language experience in reading and writing (fluent - B2 level);
• strong analytical mindset and sharp logical thinking;
• ability to analyze symptoms of potentially larger problems to identify opportunities for change;
