Job description

You will be at the heart of the autonomous robot Artaban’s software stack. You will take part in architecting and developing software ranging from perception up to Artaban action generation, making sure all the components work together. You will also contribute to optimizing our software development lifecycle. For our team we seek people with passion, creativity and the ability to learn.

Requirements

Day to day activities:

  • Work on a variety of data processing algorithms and pipelines
  • Validate software in simulation and test on real hardware
  • Integrate and customise robotics libraries and packages for Artaban
  • Maintain internal software packages and tools

Required skills:

  • MSc. degree in Robotics, Computer Science or related field
  • Strong programming skills in C++, Python
  • Ability to write modular and maintainable code
  • Knowledge of git workflows, tools like GitHub and understanding of DevOps
  • Proactive team working and mission-driven attitude

Desired skills:

  • Experience with production-grade software projects for edge (embedded) devices
  • Experience in developing robotics systems using ROS
  • Practical experience with sensors like IMUs, lidars, depth cameras, ...
  • Familiarity with robot simulation software
  • Working knowledge of Linux shell, networking
