Essential skills
• Strong ability to implement new features in C++, as well as blueprints, is mandatory (C++ bridges)
• Excellent knowledge of C++ coding principles, object-oriented programing, code optimization, and self-documenting code
• Good knowledge of UML diagrams, design patterns, and the decision-making on code architecture
• Be comfortable with the Unreal build system
• Source control (GIT)
• Slate/UMG (Unreal UI systems)
• 3D Math (linear algebra)
• Ability to work with Shading Languages is a good advantage (HLSL etc)
• Practice with databases, messaging queues and HTTP APIs are an advantage
