Responsibilities

• Development of biometric product that is deployed around the world (EMEA, APAC, LATAM, NA)
• Programming in Java and Kotlin
• Development and integration of our ABIS services
• Integration with biometric libraries of our own making
• Independent responsibility for the quality of the solution
• Collaboration with other Research and Development team

About ABIS

Automated Biometrics Identification System – is a biometric identity management system supporting fingerprint, iris, and facial recognition. With our ABIS modules our clients can easily build an identity management solution tailored to their needs. From identifying people on crime scenes to voter registrations, our ABIS covers a whole scale of use cases.

• We are looking for a person who is technologically capable, able to express own opinion and share his / her knowledge with others
• Advanced knowledge of Java programming language and platform (experience with Kotlin is a plus)
• Experience with Spring Boot
• Experience with distributed systems (multithreading, parallelization, microservices concept)
• Experience with integration (REST, MQ, GraphQL, gRPC)
• Knowledge of SQL, experience with RDBMS (Oracle / PostgreSQL / SQL server)
• Experience with the development process: Git, code review, CI, CD, Jenkins / GitHub CI, Docker, Maven / Gradle
• Active knowledge of the English language
