The role on offer

We’re looking for someone who likes the sound of the above to join our Web team as a deploy assistant. We have quite a few website projects on at the moment and we are looking for someone to help us to test, snag, populate and deploy the new websites once they are built by our developers.

Ideally, we would like someone who can hit the ground running, someone who has some understanding of how good websites are built, front-end development, CMS and is able to spot things that are not as they should be and explain them to the team.

This is a part-time role. You’ll work remotely, and on a project-by-project basis. Consider this a foot in the door opportunity. Show initiative, dedication, meticulous attention to detail, tech enthusiasm and ability to add value and other doors in Squaredot may open for you.

What you bring to the table

• Studying or completed a university or college IT-related degree…..or alternatively a marketing-related degree with good technical understanding
• Great English language knowledge (be able to communicate clearly with the Squaredot team)
• Front-end development skills would be a plus
• Previous experience working in CMS systems, in particular HubSpot, would be a bonus (but the right person will pick this up quickly)
• Strong attention to detail is really important for this role
• And an ability to handle issues with an appropriate sense of urgency
• Capacity to work independently and meet deadlines
• Talent for spotting and remedying bugs & snags when launching new websites - whether related to web copy, content, design or function
