Hi there 👋 It's Laura, Michaela, and Michal here. We're a marketing team in Sudolabs - yep, just the three of us.

Right now we're handling tons of activities such as social media content, video making, event planning, paid ads and campaigns, sudo web, retreats, internal events, balloon decorations… you name it.

But it's a bit too much for us, so we are 👀 looking for an extra pair of hands to help us boost our (already awesome) internal culture and somebody who will make our office so good, that people would want to have sleepovers here.

As an internal Community & Space Manager, your responsibility will be to support Sudolabs team members, come up with engaging internal events and lit parties, listen to everyone's feedback, and brighten up our space! The job is quite rewarding since colleagues love internal events, so they'll love you too 🥰

To enhance our workspace and make it even more enjoyable, your responsibility will be to keep an eye on our office and propose improvements. Oh and last but not least, you will be a valid member of the marketing team, so get ready for creative challenges! 😎

📌 Agenda:

Manage internal community and events:

  • Work on internal community initiatives designed to develop connections between members.
  • Regularly organize in-person and virtual events and engagement activities that contribute to company culture and boost team spirit.
  • Come up with creative ideas for upcoming events (we already hosted Star Wars Movie Night, Office Opening Party, Sports Challenge, and Yoga session, and we always look for new inspiration).
  • Prepare thematic office decorations and snacks, to ensure a pleasing atmosphere (Halloween, Christmas …).
  • Receive regular feedback from team members → what do they need? What do they dream of? Find out and implement improvements.
    -Solve member-related issues to ensure a cohesive community.

Manage/assist with Retreats and Workations:

  • Research & book accommodations (for 60+ people).
  • Help with the organization (transport, catering, venue).
  • Come up with the program (activities, timetable).
  • Think about branding/decoration/ anything is needed to prepare the killin' off-site event.
  • Assist throughout the retreat and workations when needed.

Manage/Keep an eye on the office:

  • Do whatever it takes to keep the office afloat - clean and comfy.
  • Organize communal breakfast (bi-weekly) - order catering/or do it by yourself.
  • Make sure supplies are ordered (paper, whiteboard markers, etc..).
  • Make sure food/coffee is always accessible (daily snacks, the occasional special treats, fruit, water, etc.).
  • Greet visitors when needed, prepare meeting rooms if needed.
  • Help with accommodation booking, flights, transport if needed.
  • Solve ad hoc office problems (like AC, wifi and others).
  • Manage vendor selection, negotiation, and accounts for company systems and subscriptions (electricity, parking lots, office entrance cards, AC, and other things related to the office).

  • You have previous experience with organizing events/teambuilding for 50+ people.
  • You can take nice pictures and create short videos from events and office.
  • You have an artistic touch and enjoy DIY activities from time to time.
  • You are interested in social media in general (you want to create reels, stories, TikTok, posts).
  • You are curious and interested in start-ups culture, and building online/offline communities.

Požiadavky

🌱 Main attributes and skills:

  • 1 year of previous experience in a similar position (for example event manager, space manager, office manager, assistant, executive assistant in companies, start-ups or co-works).
  • English language (B2) - in written and spoken.
    -Outstanding multitasking and organizational abilities.
    -An energetic team player and a go-getter with an interpersonal and solution-oriented attitude.
  • Leading the initiatives by yourself.
    -Not scared of ad hoc tasks and last-minute changes.
  • Good at balancing different priorities and demands, ability to easily prioritize and plan your time accordingly.
