Amerge is looking for a Software Developer with Python experience to support the development of our internal Amazon Advertising management platform. Amerge Engine is a tool that we have developed in-house and your primary job will be to enhance it and develop it further. This role offers a lot of creative freedom, there is no strict or rigid concept. What is cool is that you will see your implementation and ideas in real time with visible results. You'll be working with an international team, so English is a must, and Python is our second language.

A successful candidate will be performing the following Day-to-day duties:

● Collaborating with the creator and developer of Amerge’s Amazon Advertising management platform to
further develop its functionality.
● Develop scalable backend systems.
● Improving existing systems to increase efficiencies by streamlining the current code.
● Collaborating with front-end software developers by developing APIs that will align backend and frontend.
● Testing, troubleshooting, and documenting throughout the process of the platform’s development.

● Experienced as a backend developer or full stack developer in Django, FastAPI, or Flask and deployment in AWS.
● Familiar with packages like SQLAlchemy, pytest, plotly/matplotlib
● Strong orientation towards design patterns, clean code principles, and SOLID principles.
● Writing testable, maintainable code, that’s easy to understand.
● Excellent communication and organizational skills and attention to detail.
● Oral and written fluency in English.

Relevant experience
● 2+ years of experience with Python
● Hands-on experience in collaborating on quality Python applications and systems with other developers.
● Knowledge of AWS cloud concepts, Docker, APIs (REST, GraphQL), Git, and SQL (Postgres).
