Job Summary: We are offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and agile Sales and Business Development Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with one of our founders, playing a crucial role in our sales efforts and client expansion in the CZ and SK regions. This role involves making new contacts, conducting outreach, and representing Splendex in both online and in-person meetings. This position is full remote with occasional meetings in one of the three countries.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Network Outreach:

    • Leverage and expand your existing network to generate new business opportunities.
    • Identify and connect with potential clients through various channels, including social media, email, and networking events.
  2. Partner and Lead Outreach:

    • Engage with a network of fixed partners to identify collaboration opportunities.
    • Actively seek out and develop new leads through market research and targeted outreach efforts.
  3. Client Meetings:

    • Schedule and conduct online and in-person meetings with potential clients in Bratislava and Prague.
    • Present Splendex’s offerings, understanding client needs, and providing tailored solutions.
  4. Sales Materials Preparation:

    • Take an active role in creating and updating sales materials, including presentations, quotes, and pitch decks.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure all materials align with Splendex’s brand and messaging.
  5. Sales Strategy and Reporting:

    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
    • Provide regular reports on sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts to the management team.
  6. Client Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
    • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and act as a primary point of contact for client inquiries and issues.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or a related field within the software development industry.
  • Strong understanding of cloud services, web, and mobile application development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in creating and delivering compelling presentations and sales materials.
  • Willingness to travel within Bratislava and Prague for client meetings.
  • Fluency in English and Slovak or Czech; Hungarian is a plus.
  • University degree in sales, marketing, IT, or related field is an advantage but not a requirement.
