Today, the objective is to empower the global research and innovation, and to promote cooperation between European and International ICT communities. By harnessing the potential of the ICT revolution, EAI engages the global community in all sectors of society to explore ways in which innovation in technology and business can benefit society at large.

Náplň práce

The European Alliance for Innovation organizes over a hundred events around the world. The Events Venue Manager deals with conference budgets and registrations, venue provisioning and social programs of the events.

Specific Job responsibilities include:

• In coordination with the event manager select venue locations based on analyzing costs and benefits from operational and attractiveness perspectives;
• Propose and organize on-site activities to augment event participants experience;
• Negotiate venues and follow event venue contract execution;
• Prepare and update the event’s budget;
• Monitor venue deadlines avoiding cancellation or changes penalties;
• Collaborate with Finance department for timely invoices and payments;
• Support accommodation arrangements for keynote speakers, organizing committee and EAI staff;
• Serve as main point of contact for venue related volunteer committee members

  • Organizational and multitasking skills to support multiple parallel events;
  • Individual time and task management abilities with analytical thinking;
  • Ability take-part in teamwork;
  • Practical experience using MS Office suite products such as Word, Excel, Publisher and others;
  • Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships;
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Capability to adapt to dynamic environment;
  • Excellent command of English - writing and oral skills.
