As a Junior Python Developer you’ll be joining our Recommender Team 🎯

The Recommender is one of the key products of Luigi’s Box, delivering personalized product suggestions to visitors on our e-commerce clients’ platforms. By leveraging ML & AI, Luigi’s Box Recommender tailors content based on user preferences, previous behavior and actual intent.

As a junior member of the Recommender Team 🎯 you will play a pivotal role in developing advanced recommendation engines, enriching product metadata, enhancing personalization features, developing web APIs, and more. You will not only contribute to existing projects but also have the opportunity to lead the development of new initiatives.

💫 What makes you a great fit

• Knowledge of Python, with an understanding of core principles.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and adhere to best practices in software development, including testing and code reviews.
• Experience in backend development and building web APIs.
• Knowledge of relational databases
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms is a plus.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases is also a plus.
• Previous experience with AI/ML is advantageous, but not required.
• Problem-solving mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English.
