As Head of Marketing, you will play a key role in building and growing the Ticketportal and GoOut brands in Slovakia. You will connect brand strategy with performance, turn owned channels into real business value, and help drive event sales.

You’ll have space to take ownership, shape processes, and make a visible impact on both brand perception and revenue.

🎯 What you’ll do

Marketing Strategy & Brand

  • Develop and implement the overall marketing strategy aligned with business objectives and ticket sales growth.
  • Define clear brand positioning for Ticketportal and GoOut and ensure their differentiation.
  • Analyze market trends, competition, and customer behavior; work with audience segmentation.
  • Ensure consistent visual identity and brand communication across all channels.
  • Strengthen brand perception among fans and event organizers.

Owned Channels & Monetization

  • Grow the brands primarily through owned channels:
  • newsletters as strong marketing and media products
  • banners and promotional placements on websites and in apps
  • social media as tools for both brand building and performance
  • Increase the value and monetization of owned channels:
  • build their media value
  • sell promotional space to event organizers
  • create promotional packages focused on driving event sales

Digital & Performance Marketing

  • Lead the digital marketing strategy (PPC, social media, email marketing, marketing automation, and other digital channels).
  • Set short-term and long-term marketing goals and KPIs.
  • Regularly evaluate campaign performance and return on investment (ROI).
  • Connect brand marketing with performance marketing through data, reporting, and optimization.
  • Understand the customer journey and marketing funnel.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a small marketing team (2–3 people).
  • Set goals and KPIs and conduct regular 1:1 meetings.
  • Act as a mentor and professional support for the team.

Collaboration & Stakeholders

  • Work closely with the CMO / Head of Marketing and colleagues across other PLG markets.
  • Share know-how and best practices across the group.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, product, and partnerships.

Budget & Resources

  • Prepare and manage the marketing budget.
  • Monitor costs and evaluate the effectiveness of investments across marketing channels.

🧠 What we’re looking for

A Senior Marketer who:

  • Understands both brand building and performance marketing
  • Sees brand as a strategic business asset, not just a visual layer

You have experience with:

  • Digital marketing, data, and performance measurement
  • Multi-channel marketing (social media, performance, content, email marketing)
  • Building and monetizing owned channels

You are able to:

  • Connect long-term brand strategy with short-term performance
  • Set short-term and long-term marketing goals and KPIs
  • Analyze marketing data and optimize investment effectiveness
  • Lead a team while staying hands-on
  • Communicate effectively across teams and countries
  • Create and manage marketing budgets
  • Develop and execute B2C and B2B communication strategies
    Experience in media, e-commerce, marketplaces or ticketing is an advantage.
