Náplň práce

The Role

As a Project manager you are in charge of delivering on SuperScale’s promise to scale our partners games or blockchain apps to their maximal business potential.

Your engagement starts already in the later stages of the sales process to help to specify the delivery scope, setting up the success criteria and cross-functional delivery team that you’ll put together based on the project needs. When the project starts, your responsibility together with sales will be to make sure that we’re exceeding our partner’s expectations.

This is a role where day-to-day you will be expected to understand what needs to happen, create the tasks necessary in order to do it, deal with impediments and problems along the way, and deliver according to expectations. This is not a role where you can ask others to create tasks and other things for you - you need to be front and center - in combat on a daily basis.

On a project level, you need to be able to deal with budgets, timelines, tasks and people - and with a framework set up for you, deliver. While we don’t expect you to be highly proficient in all of these, over time these four aspects - budgets, timelines, tasks and people will come to the fore.

Having said this - we at SuperScale will provide you the support you may need in order to deliver. Project Management is not easy, but we have an incredibly supportive and hard-working team who want everyone to succeed.

Your Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for management of a project, or multiple projects, from participation in pre-sales to project kick-off through its full life cycle.
  • Get a deep understanding of customer expectations and success criteria of the project while being aware of contract details. Work closely with sales to be in sync with evolving customer needs.
  • Partner with sales to build relationships with customer stakeholders, manage their expectations, and help to deliver their vision
  • Define and document project scope, timeline and resource requirements.
  • Work with department heads to build the best possible (multi)-functional team to deliver the project goals
  • Plan, create, coordinate and monitor delivery activities across departments
  • As part of the overall project plan, ensure all tasks are created, monitored and time-tracked.
  • Understand from a ground-level and board-level what the status of the project is, and any impediments that there is, and proactively communicate and deal with them according to your competencies
  • Define and manage priorities against the available capacity of team members
  • Manage delivery in collaboration with client stakeholders, ensuring appropriate project tr
  • Create a collaborative, innovative and efficient working culture.
  • Together with the Head of Operations, shape work processes, methods, tools, and guidelines across pillars to improve the way we work and solve operational problems the teams may encounter.
  • Report to the Head of Operations on project status weekly, with timelines and actual vs. real capacity planning and budgets.

Požadavky

  • University degree in information technology / computer science is preferred
  • Proven experience managing and delivering data oriented and technologically advanced solutions & services to the clients
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Strong focus on delivering best possible solutions and services to the clients with extra attention to quality
  • Solid organizational, coordination and prioritization abilities including attention to detail and multitasking
  • Experience in using Jira or other task management tool is an advantage, but not required
  • A focus on honesty when reporting - showing the current reality is the only way we can deal with problems proactively
  • English on an advanced level as you will deal with international clients
