Currently, we are building a team for a fin-tech client. This position is closely tied to that particular client with an outlook to work directly for them. This position is open only for people available to work on contract.

We're looking for a highly motivated and technical individual to design and manage QA infrastructure across API, SDK, web, and mobile products. An ideal candidate will be comfortable with both planning and implementation. Deep experience with QA automation is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Design and implement QA automation tooling
• Identify, document, and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Develop and apply testing processes to verify product specs are satisfied
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities, and open defect counts
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Skillset needed:

• Proven work experience in QA automation
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
• Command line proficiency
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

Nice to have skills

• Solid knowledge of relational and document-oriented databases
• Experience with performance and/or security testing

Testing environments and underlying tech:

• Web applications
• Android apps on proprietary hardware
• REST and SocketIO APIs
• Web/iOS/Android/Java SDKs
• Databases: MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL
• AWS ( to invoke Lambdas, verify data in SQS queues, etc.)
