Náplň práce

This position is a top management position within the company. As Chief Marketing Officer you will be responsible for creation and execution on marketing strategy.
We are an e-commerce business, having customers around Europe, with majority of sales done through our website. As a member of the executive management, you shall cover following areas:

Company strategy
• Work closely with the CEO to execute on end-to-end marketing strategy.
• Collaborate with sales department and marketing professionals on future roadmap decisions and plans.
• Develop value proposition and message that speaks to customer needs and the product positioning.
• Maintain an understanding of the competitive landscape and provide competitive differentiation through sales support and the development of marketing strategies.

Brand and marketing activities
• Own and manage brand building strategy, activities such as building brand awareness, promoting products/ services, or connecting with intended audience for the purpose of establishing a relationship with them in their needs (B2C & B2B)
• Review market research to understand needs and integrate them into our marketing strategies.
• Support the Sales and Customer Service team to impact acquisition, retention, and expansion opportunities to both new and existing customer base.
• Review current marketing campaigns for weaknesses and develop solutions within budget constraints
• Provide hands-on support for key marketing opportunities.

Digital Performance
• Analyze website B2C click-to-purchase conversion rates and the effectiveness of promotions and different traffic sources to determine what drives sales
• Track customer journey and optimize the customer experience
• Create and drive a complex B2B strategy across various channels
• Analyze and propose new strategies for B2B lead generation and nurturing
• Lead and develop affiliate marketing strategy in close cooperation with sales department
• Manage SEO strategy - website monitoring, prioritization of current SEO tasks, website content optimization and cooperation with SEO specialists (internal and external)

Marketing management (anticipation)
• Coordinate marketing team of external and intern specialists in order to be on track with quarterly goals
• Manage marketing budget and costs across all existing areas
• Own, lead and optimize marketing activities, track progress, and coordinate the team in order to achieve marketing KPI´s
• Cooperate closely with agencies to be able to manage ads, performance, website changes and reporting consistency
• Identify potential new markets and create a plan to enter the market
• Brainstorm and develop fresh ideas with management team


We are looking for the right combination of a character and skill. The company is experiencing sustainable growth and has unique product on the EU market with a very specific target group (tens of thousand of used car dealers in Europe). The CMO should be able to orchestrate the marketing activities the company currently has and help execute our mission of removing administrative burdens from car trading.

• 5+ years of experience in Marketing, Product Marketing, or related marketing or sales function, such as Head of Marketing Team, Demand Marketing Manager or B2B marketer
• Experience with designing and executing effective marketing and sales strategies.
• Passion for making analytics-based decisions.
• Experience with leading and growing a team (2 internal and 2 external colleagues currently)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A desire to learn and ask questions.
• Passion for cars is welcome, but even more so a passion to build yourself.
