The Spot People Recruitment is helping our co-work clients and partners with hiring of exceptional talents. This position is being hired for our premium member, a scale-up company from the Software development industry. The name of the company will be disclosed within the first introduction interview.

As the new Head of Sales & Business Development, you'll be at the forefront of driving our growth strategy which should be sustainable. You’ll design and execute our sales playbook from the ground up, working hand in hand with leadership and marketing to uncover opportunities, win new business, and take our company to the next level.

🔧 What You'll Do

  • Define and lead the sales strategy in close alignment with the leadership and marketing team
  • Identify and capture new business opportunities – from prospecting to closing deals
  • Act as the face of our commercial efforts, building strong relationships with partners, clients, and industry stakeholders
  • Develop the tools and tactics needed to track customer acquisition, market trends, and competitor activity
  • Build and manage a targeted pipeline of leads and actively seek out untapped markets and customer segments
  • Bring a hunter mentality – always searching for the next opportunity
  • Represent the company at events, conferences, and networking opportunities to boost brand visibility and partnerships

👀 What We're Looking For

  • Proven track record in Sales and Business Development within the information technology environment (startup, scale-up, SW development preferred)
  • Hands-on, ownership-driven mindset. You're not afraid to build from scratch
  • Strong strategic thinking and executional power
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire clients and internal teams alike
  • Fluent in English and Slovak

  • Proven track record in B2B sales, business development, or partnerships, ideally in tech, consulting, or a fast-paced service industry
  • You’re a strategic thinker with strong operational skills – you know how to design a plan and then roll up your sleeves to execute it
  • Strong ability to build relationships, open doors, and close deals
  • Experience working closely with marketing, product, and leadership teams
  • Data-driven mindset
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • A strong networker and natural connector, excited to represent the company externally together with our CEO
