Job description

Before we dive into it, let's talk about THE TEAM

The EcoCocon team consists of 25 internal colleagues and several external partners across Europe and the US. The HQ is located in Bratislava, Slovakia, and we have several other offices in Europe.

Our Marketing Team consists of 2 internal team members (you’d be our third colleague) – a Marketing Manager and a Content Specialist. We work with several external vendors (a design studio, photo & video production company, performance agency, PR agency and translators).

We’re in the process of scaling up our business, our processes and our teams, but without the fast startup culture. Our team consists of mature, grounded individuals and leaders who see their work as their purpose and we value our (and each others’) personal time. We love drive and new energy, but with respect to everybody’s health and boundaries – as our product might indicate, we like doing things in a sustainable way. 😊

And now - let's talk about THE ROLE 😊

Why this role matters

We build with straw. Literally. And our sales team (TSCs) turns that into real projects.
Your mission: be the strawesome Swiss-army-knife who makes their work smoother, faster, and better—by running world-class events and keeping every fair kit, brochure, poster, and localized video perfectly on time and on brand.

What you’ll do (and keep beautifully organized)

Events & Trade Fairs (across markets)

  • Own end-to-end ops for Partner Meeting, VIP Factory Tour, and On-site Building Tours: plans & timelines, venue/logistics, catering, guest transport & accommodation, sample inventory.
  • Vendor wrangling: AV, photo/video, print, rentals; signage & wayfinding dialed in.
  • On-site pack: badges, programs, roll-ups, poster sets, product samples—spotless and ready.
  • Run-of-show: technical checks, safety/GDPR basics (attendee lists).
  • Aftercare: gather inputs for recap/case and hand over materials to Sales.

Fairs support (Sales first!)

  • Coordinate materials, stock checklists, orders/shipping, brand compliance.
  • Local-subtitle videos (EC + factory): right language (SRT/VTT), clean timing & diacritics, correct export; deliver to TSC D-7 as part of the fair kit.

Branded Materials & Design Collab

  • Keep brochures, leaflets, posters, roll-ups, and presentation packs always up to date.
  • Brief and steer the design studio; QA vs. brand manual (no pixel left behind).
  • Run a neat asset library (versions, naming, availability, rights).
  • Merch care: healthy stock levels, smart improvements.

Localizations & Translations

  • Coordinate timelines and quality with TSCs/externals; maintain the terminology glossary; do the final consistency check.

Web — Content Admin (limited)

  • Upload/update technical docs & key info (fire tests, new partners, new TSC markets), with version control.
  • Ticket minor fixes with the dev vendor (no UX/SEO/analytics ownership).

Research & Ad-hoc

  • Quick, useful research for materials/events.
  • Execute tidy mini-projects from the Marketing Director.

Last, but not least

It would be fantastic if you were interested in sustainability, green construction and architecture in particular. But if we click and you don’t have any hands-on experience within the industry, we’ll be happy to dedicate time to helping you explore the landscape – we have an internal academy to provide you with basic information about the company and the business as well as a whole team of great people ready to support you on your journey.

The role is suitable for people with previous experience as Account Managers from marketing agencies, Project Managers with marketing background, Campaign Managers, Marketing Managers, Marketing Specialists or Marketing Coordinators.

Ready to build strawesome things?

Send your CV (or LinkedIn), plus 3–5 lines on a B2B event/fair you led, and 1–2 examples of marketing packs or materials you've coordinated.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in event/marketing operations (B2B a plus).
  • The Swiss-army-knife mindset: you don’t flinch at new tasks, you make order from chaos, and you happily help colleagues who feel a bit lost in marketing or databases.
  • Vendor coordination, timelines, budgets, risk spotting & mitigation.
  • Designer briefing + print proofing; SRT/VTT subtitle handling & QC.
  • Tools: Google Workspace, Basecamp (or similar), basic CMS admin, file naming/versioning best practices.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent English; Slovak (and another EU language is a plus).
