Job description

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead to oversee our team of junior and mid-level developers. In this role, you will support our clients and Project Managers by leading the technical aspects of app implementation, customizations, integration development, L3 support, and bug fixing.

As part of the IT Operations, you will be responsible for:

  • Team Management: Lead a small IT operations team responsible for business-as-usual (BAU) operations, maintenance, bug fixing, and the development of customizations and integrations for the Staffino platform.
  • Capacity Planning and Task Prioritization: Manage the team's workload by planning capacity, prioritizing tasks, providing time estimates, and ensuring adherence to deadlines.
  • Solution Design and Oversight: Design solutions and oversee the development and testing processes. Step in as a developer for complex cases when necessary.
  • Team Development: Facilitate the professional and technical growth of team members through mentorship and training.
  • Code Quality Standards: Establish and maintain code quality standards and processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaboration and Trust Building: Foster a cooperative and trusting relationship within the team and across other departments, including Project Management, Support, and Customer Success.
  • Product Development Collaboration: Work closely with the Product Development team to design and prioritize new features.

Requirements

Your profile:

  • Good understanding of the SaaS concept and operations-specific
  • Hands-on development experience with Node.js, React, Ruby, and work with Postgres DB (mid-level)
  • Experience leading a small to medium-sized team, ideally in a Service Desk environment
  • Experience with agile development (kanban or scrum)
  • Analytical thinking, responsibility and ownership, clear and direct communication, service orientation and willingness to manage and develop team
