Job description

The Role

We are working with a portfolio of iOS and Android mobile games with a significant volume of traffic and revenue. As part of our Full Growth Management team, you will join our experts in developing new features improving monetization and player engagement, allowing our titles to reach new heights.

We are looking for an experienced 2D graphic artist that could help lead this effort. We are helping our partners with game development and game optimization to achieve their goals. We have an expanding team taking care of multiple projects and partners.

Full Growth Management’s role is to analyze, optimize, and scale games by providing analytics, Live Ops, and UA services aiming to help the growth of the games in post IDFA era. With a portfolio of games that SuperScale maintains, your work will directly affect millions of users and can have a huge impact on company revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality 2D graphical assets for mobile games in accordance with project specifications in various art styles, including pixel art
  • Creating game assets including UI, game environment, objects, and characters with simple animations (gif in Photoshop)
  • Working closely with UX & Game Designers to assist in translating ideas into visually functional UI designs
  • Optimizing existing assets and creation workflow
  • Implementing assets directly into the game engine
  • Being fully committed to your tasks and actively communicating with the team

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in gaming or as a commercial artist
  • Previous experience with pixel art is a huge advantage (with samples in the portfolio)
  • Experience with 2D graphic design in the game industry
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Proficiency in Adobe Xd, Figma, or other UI tools
  • Experience in Unity game development (advantage)
  • Creative thinking and proactivity
  • Talent for visual storytelling
  • Organizing your source file properly
  • Proposing alternate solutions to overcome technical or creative hurdles
  • Briefed on the latest graphic trends in general and in the gaming industry
