Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all WordPress development projects from concept to delivery.
• Architect and maintain custom themes, plugins, and Elementor widgets.
• Review code, establish best practices, and mentor junior developers.
• Research and implement new technologies, tools, and processes to optimize performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to shape the studio’s technical direction and development standards.
• Ensure all projects follow high standards in performance (Lighthouse/Core Web Vitals), security, SEO, and maintainability.
• Participate in project planning, estimates, and technical documentation.

• 5+ years of professional experience in WordPress development.
• Deep understanding of PHP, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Proven experience with Elementor, ACF, custom post types, and Gutenberg/FSE.
• Will to build and lead internal development team
• Strong experience building and maintaining custom themes and plugins.
• Understanding of REST API, WP CLI, Git, and modern development workflows.
• Experience integrating headless WordPress or modern JS frameworks (React, Next.js).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes.
• Solid grasp of website optimization, caching, and hosting environments (SiteGround, Kinsta, WP Engine, etc.).
• Ability to take ownership, lead technical decisions, and manage multiple projects.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
